This is the only pair of boots that have a high heel & can wear with a racing suit. Over time, I made upgrades as the boot wore out. The zipper will rub over time depending on type of bike (mine is a CBR500) & may need replacing depending how often you ride. I rode about 20K before replacing the zipper.The grips on the sole are very good. I used the boot all year round, so the sole got worn over two years of all year wear. So very solid.I bought an insole to cushion the ball of the foot better.Breaking them in is not too bad. I wore them in the rain & that helped.Thumbs up
